If we are a good fit and you want to continue with estate planning, the next step is a paid 60–90-minute design meeting. We discuss the specifics of your plan. The meeting fee is credited toward your flat fee if you choose to proceed.
After the design meeting, you decide whether to move forward. If you do, you pay the remaining flat-fee balance, and we build your plan and work with you to put it in place.
Tell us if travel, work, caregiving, or coordinating another person makes scheduling difficult. We can discuss whether a virtual planning meeting or a mobile visit is practical for the work involved. We confirm how the planning meetings and any signing will be handled for your matter.
For the first call, a short explanation of your goals and the documents you know about is enough. If you have concerns about a missing original or an unclear property record, mention them.
